Longfellow Community Council River Cleanup (partner event)

Saturday, July 23, 2022 - 9:00am to 12:30pm
Minneapolis River Gorge
Longfellow Community Council river cleanup

Join the Longfellow Community Council and Longfellow neighbors for a river gorge cleanup. This cleanup gathers people from the neighborhood and community together to contribute to the health and vitality of the Mississippi River. All are welcome. This is a free, family-friendly event.

To join the cleanup and experience the beauty of the river gorge, simply show up between 9 am and 12:30 pm at E 36th St & W River Parkway to meet up with staff and get materials. We strongly suggest wearing sturdy shoes and dressing for the weather. And we suggest bringing a mask for whenever you find yourself in close proximity to other volunteers. We will have clean-up supplies available including trash bags, gloves, and pickers.
